Mission Statement, Pride in Action, Southern Il

Pride in Action, Southern Il is a community organization made up of volunteers. The purposes of Pride in Action, Southern Il are to promote social welfare including but not limited to: (1) developing and advocating for legislation, regulations, and public education to improve the general well being of the LGBTQ+ population of Southern Illinois, (2) conducting research and publishing the positions of the elected officials concerning these issues and (3) planning events to improve the social welfare of the LGBTQ+ population of Southern Illinois, including Southern Il PrideFest and other community events.
